Goal: 

The goal of this Moving Bucks was to create a financial tool for new and experienced movers. This application offers tools to budget, track, and execute both a cross - town and long distance move. The user can import there own spending habits to prepare for the financial responsibilities of moving. This app also helped connect users to moving tools and resources in both the geographic location they are living in and the area they are moving to. This app also offers an electronic payment method for paying vendors and tracking all expenses. 

Process: 

To create this application I started with a competitive analysis to understand whether or not an app like this existed. Currently, there are four mainstream financial apps for person budgeting and expenses but nothing on the market specifically created for helping a user manage a move. 

Role: 

UX/ UI, user research, user interviews, user personas, content 

development, html coding, site mapping, wireframes, protoyping

User Personas

Ellis and Carter are two user personas that were created from the user research done on Moving Bucks. In the user research stage of the app there were 10 user interviews done to collect data and create the personas. It was important that Moving Bucks was an app that could be used by a wide age demographic. Moving Bucks is in its first iteration.
